How to Make a QR Code for Google Reviews (Free)

Reviews drive local business, but customers rarely hunt for your page. A QR code at the counter, on the receipt, or on the table makes leaving a review a five-second job. Here's how to set one up free.

Step 1 — Get your Google review link

From your Google Business Profile, find the "Ask for reviews" option to copy your unique review link. It opens the review box directly on your business. (If you manage the profile, it's in the profile dashboard.)

Step 2 — Shorten it and make the QR code

  1. Paste your review link into the link creator.
  2. Give it a memorable slug like /review.
  3. Download the auto-generated QR code.

Step 3 — Put it where customers are

  • Counter and table tents, receipts, packaging.
  • "Enjoyed your visit? Scan to leave a review 🙏" signage.
  • Your link-in-bio page and email footer.

Why use a short link behind it

You'll see how many people scan and click through, so you can tell which placement actually earns reviews — and you can update the link later without reprinting. Learn more in static vs dynamic QR codes.
